Insurance & Billing

I currently accept major insurance carriers; however, I am not in-network for every single plan variation they offer. I strongly encourage you to verify your coverage. Call your insurance provider, ask them: "Is Stephenson Gut Vitality & Health (or Emily Stephenson, Family Nurse Practitioner) an in-network provider for my specific plan?"

• United Healthcare

If your carrier isn't listed, please reach out and ask me to join your network. While acceptance isn't guaranteed and the process takes a few months, I am happy to submit an application to try to accommodate your insurance needs.

Out-of-Network Information

If your insurance carrier is not listed, you can still receive care at our clinic. Payment will be due at the time of service, and we will provide you with a comprehensive superbill at the conclusion of your visit. You can submit this document directly to your insurance carrier to seek personal reimbursement.

Important Notices:

• Medicaid: I am not a Medicaid provider and strictly out-of-network with all Medicaid and Medicaid Managed Care plans. I am unable to accept or bill Medicaid at this time.

• HSA/FSA: I gladly accept Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) as standard forms of payment for qualified medical services and labs.

I am currently in the final stages of launching my practice to offer you the highest standard of functional care. As a small, solo practice, I am only accepting a limited number of select patients to ensure an exceptional, dedicated level of care. The physical Stephenson Gut Vitality & Health clinic is projected to open its doors around end of August.
